When I hiked the Appalachian Trail from North Carolina to Connecticut, I encountered “trail angels” and “trail magic”. Later, when I moved to NYC, the past experience of trail angels and trail magic gave me the idea and desire to start this project. There isn’t anything better than when needs meet magic.
My encounters with NYC homeless and the discussion section of this post in the Inwood Community Group inspired the project to launch.
